Make yourself at home
For the people who keep
the practice moving.
If you’ve ever gone looking for a simple billing answer and come back with twelve browser tabs and three new questions, welcome. You’re in the right place.
At Paragon, we care about what happens behind patient care: the claims that need attention, the conversations that need a little patience, and the people trying to fit it all into a working day.
This blog is a place to share useful information about dental billing and practice life in language you can actually use. We’re a small business, and we like our conversations with a little personality. We see no reason our articles should suddenly sound like they were written for a quarterly board meeting.
What you’ll find here
Helpful information.
A human voice.
Practical subjects, thoughtful explanations, and the occasional laugh because working in dentistry gives us plenty of material.
- Dental billing, explained.
- Insurance claims, patient billing, follow-up, and the details that can make a straightforward task surprisingly complicated. We’ll work through the questions and the practical next steps.
- Changes worth knowing about.
- Industry updates, software guidance, and billing requirements with context: what changed, who it affects, and where to check the source. A headline is useful. Knowing what to do with it is better.
- Better ways to work together.
- Clear responsibilities, useful tools, and communication that helps the day run more smoothly. Sometimes the team doesn’t need to work harder. They need a process that makes sense.
- The people behind the work.
- Our perspective on supporting practices, building trust, and taking accountability. There’s a person on both sides of the conversation, even when the conversation starts with an unpaid claim.

A useful pause
Something you can take back to your day.
We want you to leave an article with a clearer answer, a useful question to ask, or a next step you can put into practice.
That means plain language, relevant examples, and room for the details that matter. It also means saying when an answer depends on your software, payer, or particular situation. A confident guess is still a guess, and nobody needs one attached to a claim.
Read what’s useful. Share it with your team. Come back when another question pops up. No meeting invitation required.
